Access requests

If you are unable to access a building or room which you have authorization to use, contact Security and a member of our team will come to assist.

For all access requests you will be required to present your VIU identification with a clearly discernable photo, name and student or employee number.  An inability to produce such identification will result in your access request being denied.

At the Nanaimo campus lost and found services are maintained by campus security.  If you are looking for or are wishing to drop off an item of lost and found, please attend the campus security office.

Security does not accept food or beverage containers into lost and found.
