The Community Partnerships Office serves as a navigator, connector, and front door for university and community stakeholders to strengthen existing or create new partnerships, we will focus on facilitating long-term, deep, relationship-based strategic partnerships with and for our communities.
The Community Partnership Office will actively seek advice and counsel from our communities to ensure we remain relevant and responsive to their current needs and future opportunities for collaboration and support through a Community Advisory Network. It is expected that this office will:
- Support the interconnection of opportunities across our communities and partners
- Leverage the strength of our academic, administrative, and support teams to enhance community engagement for research, transitions to work, service, and leadership with and for our communities with a particular focus on expanding access to education and resources to marginalized populations
- Connect with partners to highlight, celebrate, and expand the narrative of Community-University engagement, impact, and outcomes
- Collaborate with community partners and local stakeholders in support of innovative, sustainable, and scalable community engagement and social innovation opportunities that enhance teaching, research, and serving the needs of our communities
