Step 20: Provost and Vice-President Academic approves final Multi-Year Budget and Implementation date
OUPA sends Provost and Vice-President Academic the Implementation Memo for final Program Multi-Year Budget and Implementation Date approval.
If PVPA approved, OUPA will inform the VIU community.
Step 21: Registration and Marketing Implementation Plan
Department meets with Registration to discuss plans for implementing the program into the student information system, including degree audit, program calendar, course and program inventory, and course timetable. These final steps in the process can take a minimum of 8 to 10 weeks from notification of approval (Step 19).
Department meets with Marketing and Communications to plan recruitment and marketing initiatives. Recommend a minimum of one-year of marketing and promotion prior to program implementation.
