Health and Safety Services provides training and education courses in various areas of expertise. These courses are set up to allow individuals to be proficient in managing the health and safety aspects of their jobs. The following health and safety related courses are currently available online through VIULearn:
- Mandatory: Health and Safety Orientation for New Employees
- Mandatory: WHMIS 2015
- VIU Accident and Incident Investigation Course
To register for these online courses please login to VIULearn using your VIU login credentials. Select “Open Learning” from the top menu to access the courses.
If you prefer to do these training sessions in person, please login to InVIU and select Pro D Calendar, then Health and Safety Services. You can register on a waitlist or in a scheduled session.
